My name is Emily. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist from a small town known as Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I received my bachelors degree in Human Nutrition from THE Ohio State University (I had to emphasize…go Bucks!) and my Master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. I completed a 1500 hour dietetic internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. I have experience with an array of different medical conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, cirrhosis, hypertension, peri-natal, critical care, and gastrointestinal disorders.
Not only do I have experience with a wide range of co-morbidities and diseases, but I have a passion for helping others with disordered eating and repairing body-image. My philosophy is simple and combines the 10-principles of intuitive eating with an emphasis on gentle nutrition.
Most importantly, I have been exactly where you are, right now. Looking for answers, advice, guidance, to find freedom with food. I want you to know you are not alone. Together, we have the ability to find your freedom, your voice, and your path to the best version of you through gentle nutrition therapy.
